Sandra's Top 10 Reasons to Race in Quebec

I've had the opportunity to race all over the world, but here are my top 10 reasons why racing in Quebec is cool... possibly cooler than in any other province... maybe...? We'll do a top 10 after the Western Canada Cups and have an East vs. West face-off for the final decision... just like the Stanley Cup except with biking and not hockey... and the teams are all Canadian... and it's way better.

So with no further ado, the top 10 reasons to Race in Quebec are:

10. It's the beer, oui?!


9. Quebeckers make serious burgers!



8. "Telemarketing" with new pals.



7. Alternate pronunciations...



6. The race start can be delayed by 20 minutes and the world doesn't end... in fact, you can even get on the podium - all these ladies did!



5. Handsome gentlemen... wait a minute - these yahoos aren't Quebeckers!

That's better...


4. Le Petit Caribou...


3. Maple syrup and cabines au sucre (sugar shacks, baby)!



2. Bilingualism...


1. Getting to hang out with our new Xprezo friends!

    Just so you know... those last photos are actually at Hardwood which is in Ontario. I know you don't like to admit it but you were in Ontario. Catherine

    Dear Anonymous, you are correct in stating that the last two photos were taken in Ontario, but they represent the good times we spent with our Xprezo friends in the East, primarily in Quebec, where it all started. Now if you compare those photos to the ones actually taken in Quebec (#'s 10, 8, 6, 5 (bottom), 4, which look like more fun???
